Alexis Sanchez tops Chelsea shopping list

Arsenal forward, Alexis Sanchez is now top of Chelsea Boss, Antonio Conte's summer shopping list, according to popular Italian journalist,  Fabrizio Romano.

Writing for the British Guardian, Fabrizio believes that Antonio Conte has earmarked Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez as one of his summer transfer targets even if it will be a difficult transfer deal to compete.

Arsenal are reportedly looking to recoup at least £50m from the sale of the Chilean who has mare 16 months or so left on his existing contract at Arsenal. He is reported to have told the club that only a pay rise from £130m per week to £250m per week could persuade him to sign a new deal.

Arsenal’s  refusal to agree to his terms, and also the recent bad behavior of the player, it has opened the door for potential suitors to try their luck and Chelsea happen to be one of them. PSG of France are also rumoured to be interested in the player.

One thing it's sure, Sanchez won't come cheap and he won't be short of admirers which will make it a tough battle for Chelsea to drag him across to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea agree fee with Atletico Madrid for Costa

Chelsea Football Club this afternoon announced that they have agreed a deal with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical. Chelsea bought Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m and it's believed that Costa will cost his former club £18m more than they sold him three years ago. A Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The transfer will be subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical." Atletico said: "Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an initial agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa.
