Drogba to help Chelsea bring back Lukaku

It's no longer news that Chelsea have been looking for a way to bring back Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge. Last summer Chelsea refused to agree a fee with his club Everton who paid £28m to Chelsea for the Belgian services fees years ago but were asking for £70m to sell him.

The Striker recently declared his intention to leave Goodison Park this summer because of the club's small ambition and his big ambition to be at a top club winning leagues and playing in UEFA Champions League.

That of course did not go down well with the club owners, coaches and fans but Everton Coach, Ronald Koeman admitted yesterday after Everton's 4-0 thrashing of Hull City with Lukaku scoring the last 2 goals, that leaving the club is ultimately in Lukaku's hands, that he has the final say.

With Chelsea definitely interested in the striker who they bought from Anderlecht as a teenager, it's no brainer that they'll use a club legend, a player Lukaku models his game to, a guy who is Lukaku's closest friend while at Chelsea and most importantly someone he always listens to.

That Legend is Didier Drogba. At this point it's impossible to think that Lukaku doesn't want to come back to Chelsea but Drogba will come handy because there are many top club angling for the big striker's signature. It can be said that with Didier Drogba, Chelsea has a weapon no other club has in the race to win the signature of one of the most sort after Strikers in world football today.

Chelsea agree fee with Atletico Madrid for Costa

Chelsea Football Club this afternoon announced that they have agreed a deal with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical. Chelsea bought Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m and it's believed that Costa will cost his former club £18m more than they sold him three years ago. A Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The transfer will be subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical." Atletico said: "Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an initial agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa.
