Bergomi hails Conte as the best in the world

Inter legend Beppe Bergomi praised Antonio Conte as Tactically the best coach in the world today.

Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte was a subject of immense transfer speculation linking him to Inter Milan.

Bergomi says Conte’s next move is not clear but what is clear is that Conte is tactically the best coach in the world.


“It is hard to see when he’ll leave Chelsea but he is a coach who takes teams in in difficult times and manages to give their organizations the boost they need to become great,” said Bergomi.

“Tactically, I think he’s the best. I’ve seen his drills and workouts and I can only say that those who are under him believe in him. And that’s special. All Italian coaches are truly a step above the rest. At this time, Antonio is absolutely the best. I think he’ll win the Premier League and even more.”

Chelsea agree fee with Atletico Madrid for Costa

Chelsea Football Club this afternoon announced that they have agreed a deal with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical. Chelsea bought Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m and it's believed that Costa will cost his former club £18m more than they sold him three years ago. A Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The transfer will be subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical." Atletico said: "Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an initial agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa.
