"I have a contract and no intention of leaving, but if there are changes to be made that might reduce my chances, if the coach won't count on me anymore or is to give space for another striker, I know that I'll have to leave. Paul Merson told Sky Sports: “It’s an important game for both teams, to win the Double is massive. It’s not done that often, so it’s a big game for Chelsea. “However, this is Arsenal all over, they have won the FA Cup a few times recently so they can perform in one-off games but in the league it’s 38 games and it’s when they have to park the bus and try to get a 0-0 draw they come up short. “If Eden Hazard can get on the ball in the open spaces at Wembley then he cause problems. “Arsenal don’t usually play a cancelling out game. They might try that to give themselves a chance, but the way they usually play with you have a shot and we have a shot I don’t think they will cope.”

Of course there were frustrations because I didn’t play a lot.” “So enjoying myself with the teammates wasn’t always that simple. But I also understood that I had some to work to do. But I’m happy. My team-mates have always been supporting me. They encouraged my (sic) to grab my chance and advi...

"That is why I say he has to go back, but that is only one fact. "We have to expect the departure, but with arrivals we have to play with it, that is, do we wait for him or do we not wait for him? "It could also be that he plays. "Or maybe they want to sell him for €25m - then we would be out", Eberl explained. "Yes, he made some mistakes but before he had even kicked a ball on his return people were killing him. "But, he is more mature now. We all make mistakes as kids. Plus Conte's clarity of tactics will have helped him too. He is the man in the middle, covering for others. He knows he can't get on the ball now and try to beat players. They were champions with Mourinho. The next year things did not go well, but the players are there. The players who have been champions, most are there. "And so, of course, Conte has merit too because he changed the team's strategy a bit, but most of the players who were champions with Mourinho were there. "So quality and talent were there. And this [season], fortunately, they are playing well and will manage to win again, at least they are well on the w...

We’re in a great position now. If we were to throw it away, we’d be devastated. “After the Tottenham result [against West Ham], naturally spirits were high in training and everybody was buzzing. “I’m enjoying it more now than I was a week or two ago when it was really tight. We were winning and they [Tottenham] were winning, and the pres...

Babayaro credits Conte for turning Victor Moses career around

Image
Victor Moses is no doubt one of the most improved players in the English Premier League this season and that should be attributed to the way Chelsea boss Antonio Conte coaches him and other Chelsea players, according to former Chelsea full-backs and Nigeria International, Celestine Babayaro. “I was at Stamford Bridge speaking to Victor the other day and said I was amazed at how quickly he has adapted to his new role,” said Babayaro. “He agreed and said it was all down to Conte, and the way he has coached him. He goes through everything so that you know when to go and when to stay. It is the same with the whole team. He works with everyone as individuals and as a team, drills them so they know exactly what they are doing. If an opponent moves one way, they all know where they should be. He is a typical Italian coach.” “But he has found himself under Conte. He has not been out of the team apart from when he has been injured, and in his first season as a regular, it looks...

David Luiz: Conte sees things other coaches don't see

Image
David Luiz coming back to Chelsea was one of the last summer's controversial signings. Luiz praised the meticulous nature of Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte in his latest interview with fourfourtwo.com: “He’s extremely meticulous,” Luiz reveals in the June 2017 issue of FourFourTwo. “There isn’t a tiny detail he isn’t aware of. He’s the type of guy who sees things most people wouldn’t. In training he creates situations that he thinks could occur during the upcoming games – and it makes all the difference. He also knows how to motivate us and gives confidence to the whole squad. We all know that he trusts in our ability and one of his best qualities is that he treats everyone equally.” David Luiz also talked about returning to Chelsea las...
