Conte: Diego will stay at Chelsea
Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte has reiterated his desire to keep Diego Costa and believes that the striker is focused and will want to remain at Stamford Bridge after the summer transfer window.
Diego Costa who was heavily linked with a big money move to China in January is having a successful season for the current league leaders and Conte whom he fell out with couple of weeks ago hopes to see him start next season in Chelsea's colours.
“I don’t know about this situation. It is important to focus on the present.
“For the players, for me it is important to focus on the present new messages.
“I am confident [he will stay here] but not it is important to keep the great concentration for the game against Wolves. We must go into the next round and then this situation will be better to face in the summer.”
Chelsea will have to block offers from his former club, Atletico Madrid and clubs in China if they are to retain the services of the Brazilian born Spanish striker.
