Conte is satisfied with performance against Bournemouth

Chelsea beat Bournemouth three goals to one(3-1) to maintain their 7 points lead over Tottenham in the English Premier League. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said he's satisfied with the performance and outcome of the match especially knowing that Tottenham won their early kickoff game.

He said: "I am satisfied because it wasn't easy to play this game after the win for Tottenham. But our answer was very good. We started the game with great concentration, it was a pity to concede the goal.

"But I think we managed the game well in the second half, got the result a really good team in Bournemouth, good organisation and coach and we must be pleased."

"It is normal when you play after your opponent that is very close, it can bring a bit of the pressure, but it is normal. I am very happy to face this type of situation to play with only four points with our opponent. I like the pressure, I like this situation because if I don’t see pressure I put it on because it puts the best on yourself."

Chelsea agree fee with Atletico Madrid for Costa

Chelsea Football Club this afternoon announced that they have agreed a deal with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical. Chelsea bought Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m and it's believed that Costa will cost his former club £18m more than they sold him three years ago. A Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The transfer will be subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical." Atletico said: "Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an initial agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The agreement is pending the formalisation of the contract between our club and the Spanish international forward.
