Sky Sports Journalist Massimo Marianella: Lukaku to Chelsea is already a done deal


One of the most reliable English Premier League pundits in Italy, Massimo Marianella who works for Sky Sports has claimed that Romelu Lukaku’s move to Chelsea is all but a done deal and also added that Sanchez and other tops players will surely arrive at Stamford Bridge next season.

Massimo Marianella told Sky Italia:
"I think many big players will join Chelsea in the summer as Conte wants the Blues to become credible contenders for the Champions League win. I can say Lukaku’s Chelsea move is almost done deal and reports in England claim Alexis Sanchez will also play for Chelsea next season. Many other players could also arrive [at Chelsea].”

​Talking about Conte’s future, Marianella added: “I don’t know why people keep saying Conte is considering leaving Chelsea. I don’t see why Conte should be on his way out of the club. I don’t understand these kind of rumours. Conte lives in a great city, he works for an amazing club and the fans love him"

Chelsea agree fee with Atletico Madrid for Costa

Chelsea Football Club this afternoon announced that they have agreed a deal with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical. Chelsea bought Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m and it's believed that Costa will cost his former club £18m more than they sold him three years ago. A Chelsea statement read: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa. "The transfer will be subject to the agreement of personal terms and a medical." Atletico said: "Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an initial agreement for the transfer of Diego Costa.
